Ties in the Volleyball standings shall be broken as follows: 

1. Head to Head. Compare tied teams' (two or more) match win-loss record versus all teams involved in tie. 
    * In multi-team ties (three or more), a minimum of one full match difference is required to break the tie in head-to-head comparison. {Example: 2-1 does not earn a higher seed over 1-1 since the advantage is only 1/2 match.} 
2. Compare tied teams' match win-loss record versus all teams ranked higher in the standings. 
3. Compare tied teams' set win-loss record versus all teams ranked higher in the standings 
4. NCAA RPI (as published first day after conclusion of ASUN regular season play) 

Note: if an advantage is gained in a tiebreaker of three or more teams, that team or teams is pulled out and the remaining tied teams start back at step 1. If more than one team is pulled out, that set of teams would also start back at step 1.
