ATLANTA, Ga. - Lipscomb and NJIT competed on Friday and Saturday to continue the 2019-20 season of ASUN Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field. On Friday, the Highlanders took to Staten Island for the third time this season to participate in the St. Thomas Aquinas Invitational. The Bisons were in Birmingham, Ala., for two separate meets to get their season started; the UAB Blazer Invitational on Friday, and the UAB Vulcan Invite on Saturday.

The Highlanders finished their meet in Staten Island by posting five top-10 finishes including a win in the High Jump of 1.60m by junior Miku Okada, the best High Jump performance in the league this week. Sydne Nance tied for sixth in the High Jump and also placed sixth in the 200m with a time of 26.45. In the 400m, Caitlin Hambor ended in seventh place (1:01.42) while Sarah Morgan, Chloe Jelly, Kelly DiCristina and Allison Regan took ninth in the 4x400 Relay (4:15.05). Both of these times were the best from the ASUN in those events this weekend. Hanna Anderson also entered the top conference performers list with a 10th place showing in the 400m (1:00.02).
