JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Following Thursday's 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Basketball Championship Semifinal matchups, Lipscomb and North Alabama are set to clash Sunday in the tournament finale.

North Alabama secured its 16th conference win of the season inside CB&S Bank Arena and kept its league title hopes alive after defeating Jacksonville in Florence. Jacari Lane led the Lions to victory with 19 points, going 8-for-10 from the line, while Dainel Ortiz added 18 points. Corneilous Williams posted a double-double scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Taye Fields was also a key contributor for UNA as he notched 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Lions are set to compete in the ASUN Championship Final for the first time since 2021 when the team finished as the tournament's runner-up.

Lipscomb defeated Queens on Thursday in the Music City for the team's 24th win of the season and its 14th inside Allen Arena. Joe Anderson and 2025 ASUN Player of the Year Jacob Ognacevic led the Bisons to an overtime victory. Anderson posted 25 points while Ognacevic posted a double-double scoring 21 points with 12 rebounds. Charlie Williams added 16 points and was perfect from the field, the line and beyond the arc. Will Pruitt also contributed to the victory by notching 12 points and going 6-for-6 from the line. The victory sends the Bisons to their fifth ASUN Championship final with the program looking to capture its second league title after the first came in 2018.
