JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - EKU, Jacksonville and Lipscomb each earned individual superlative honors to highlight the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Volleyball postseason honors, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Emilee Hill averaged 2.65 kills, 5.96 assists and 3.10 digs per set for the Colonels this season and earned the Player of the Year honor. The Yorktown, Ind., native recorded eight triple-doubles for EKU and helped lead the team to a league-best .259 team attack percentage. EKU's Cassidy Trahan, the Defensive Player of the Year, averaged 4.24 digs per set to lead the conference. The freshman libero ranks 70th in the nation in digs per set.
Lipscomb Sophia Hudepohl earned her second Setter of the Year honor in three seasons after recording 10.72 assists per set. 2025 also marked her fourth season in a row with over 1,000 assists (1,008) and she became the 11th student-athlete in ASUN history to eclipse 4,000 in a career. The Colonel's Addison Burke earned the program's first ASUN Freshman of the Year award. An outside hitter from Fort Mill, S.C., she averaged 3.83 points, 3.23 kills and 2.32 digs per set. After leading the Dolphins to their second most wins in a season since 2000, Alicia Manguiat was named Coach of the Year.
