JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Bellarmine's Kylie Van Hoy was named the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Van Hoy highlighted a list of 36 student-athletes that were announced by the league office as Academic All-ASUN on Wednesday.
Van Hoy, a native of Loogootee, Ind., has a 3.96 GPA with a major in Neuroscience. The senior recorded 20+ assists in 11 of her 13 ASUN contests and tallied 30+ eight times and 40+ four times. Overall, she tallied 797 assists, 8.48 per set, with 208 digs, 112 kills (.235 h%), 42.0 blocks and 18 aces. She has recorded 11 double doubles and in Bellarmine’s match at FGCU on Nov. 9, tallied her 2,000th career assist as a Knight.
The Academic All-ASUN recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All student-athletes named to the list boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
