FGCU's Zschuppe Tabbed 2025 Scholar-Athlete of the Year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - FGCU's Erika Zschuppe was named the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Zschuppe highlighted a list of 50 student-athletes that were announced by the league office as Academic All-ASUN on Wednesday.

Zschuppe holds a 3.96 GPA while working towards her B.A. in Integrated Studies. The Kirtland, Ohio, native led the NCAA at the end of the regular season with 21 goals this season as well as topping the nation in points per game with 2.59. The senior scoared a goal in all but three games in 2025 and has six multi-goal performances. In conference play, she netted 16 goals and is the only student-athlete in the conference with double-digit goals during league action.

The Academic All-ASUN recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All student-athletes named to the list boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
