JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced on Friday that FGCU's Shoki Yoshida highlighted the 11-person 2024 Academic All-ASUN Team.
Yoshida, a senior from Hyogo, Japan, led the Eagles with four goals this fall. He holds a 4.0 GPA as he majors in Entrepreneurship. The forward played and started in all but on match this season for FGCU and registered 17 shots on goal in 1,007 minutes of action. FGCU enters the 2024 ASUN Championship as the #3 seed and faces Bellarmine in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The Academic All-ASUN Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
