UCA & FGCU Claim ASUN Women's Soccer Weekly Awards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Central Arkansas duo of Carolina Billings and Kajsa Pruner along with FGCU's Emma Badger and Erika Zschuppe earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer honors, announced Monday by the league office.

The Eagles earned back-to-back shutouts against West Georgia and Queens last week to move to 5-1 in conference play. Zschuppe scored a goal and recorded an assist against the Wolves then followed up with another goal and two assists against the Royals. Badger helped the FGCU defense limit Queens to just six shots and only allowed UWG to get off two shots. Billings recorded the first hat-trick for the Bears since the 2021 Spring season with three goals in a win against Bellarmine on Sunday. Before that, Pruner earned her second shutout of the season with a 1-0 triumph in a match with EKU. Central Arkansas remains the ASUN's only unbeaten team in league play with three weeks left in the regular season.
