2024 Women's Soccer Postseason Honors Announced

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - FGCU earned three superlative recognitions while Bellarmine, Lipscomb and North Florida claimed one apiece to highlight the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer postseason honors, announced Wednesday by the league office.

The Bisons' Kiara Pralle earned Lipscomb its fifth Player of the Year honor and the third consecutive award for the program. The senior from Mooresville, N.C., tallied a league-leading 16 goals this season and added two assists for a program-record 34 points. Entering the conference tournament, Pralle ranks third in the nation for total goals. North Florida earned its first Defensive Player of the Year award after Zara Siassi captured the 2024 honor for the Ospreys. Siassi helped the Ospreys to a 9-3-7 overall record while going 6-1-4 in Atlantic Sun matches. She currently holds both the career starts and appearances records for the UNF Women's Soccer program. McKenzie Carle tallied six goals this season for the Knights and secured the program's first Freshman of the Year recognition. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native logged 1,036 minutes of action this season for Bellarmine and palced 20 of her 28 total shots on goal.

The Eagles enter the conference tourney as the #1 seed after capturing the 2024 ASUN Regular Season Championship. Jim Blankenship was selected by his peers as Coach of the Year for the sixth time after leading FGCU to a 9-1-1 mark in conference play. Ashley Labbe ended the regular season tied for second on the team and sixth in the ASUN with six goals. She also tallied a team and conference-leading eight assists en route to earning the FGCU program its first Midfielder of the Year award. 2024 Goalkeeper of the Year Olivia Molina has notched a conference-leading 109 saves this season and currently sits ninth in that national rankings for total saves. The Tampa, Fla., native averages 6.50 saves per game which is twelfth in the country along with an .852 save percentage.
