JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Central Arkansas' Laci Bohannan, EKU's Josie Schmitendorf, North Alabama's Reese Ricketts and North Florida's Annie Antar this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Volleyball honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Bohannan averaged 4.63 kills and 1.88 digs per set as the Sugar Bears went on the road and remained undefeated in conference play with wins against Austin Peay and Lipscomb. Schmitendorf helped the Colonels to sweeps of Bellarmine and reigning ASUN Champion, FGCU, with an average of 5.00 digs per set. With an average of 12.50 assists per set, Anter was a key part of the Ospreys' three-set road wins against Queens and West Georgia. Ricketts and the Lions had five-set battles against Lipscomb and Austin Peay with the freshman averaging 4.40 kills per set across both matches.
