August 17 | North Florida's Allyna Thurston
The first installment for the 2023-24 season features North Florida's Women's Soccer student-athlete Allyna Thurston. The junior defender for the Ospreys is coming off a season that earned her a Third Team All-ASUN honor. Thurston also received a United Soccer Coaches Association (USCA) All-South Region Second Team nod last year. A key contributor to a UNF defense that produced seven shutouts in 2022, Thurston talks about the how the Ospreys look to improve on last season's effort.

Catezone talks to Thurston about about everything from eating chocolate pancakes before each game to sharing the news of being named a Defender to Watch by the USCA.
