RMU's Christoforatos & Utah's Bradbury Earn CSC Academic All-America® Awards
CSC 2023 ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA AT-LARGE TEAMS
ATLANTA – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2023 Academic All-America® At-Large Teams on Wednesday, with Robert Morris' James Christoforatos and Utah's Tyler Bradbury representing ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse with the high honors.
A total of 47 individuals were recognized, with the 11 members of the first team showing a 3.98 cumulative GPA. A total of 23 honorees had perfect 4.00 GPAs, including 11 on the first team.
A two-time ASUN All-Conference and Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Bradbury earned First Team recognition with a 3.97 GPA in Finance. Bradbury led the Utes to their first ASUN Championship banner and NCAA Tournament appearnace with a team best 23 assists to go along with 33 goals and 56 points this season, both ranking second and third, respectively. The Utah junior attacker posted five hat-tricks on the season including a pair of four-goal games against Detroit Mercy and Cleveland State and tallied a season-best six points twice against Marquette and UDM.
Christoforatos was selected to the Third Team while holding a 4.00 GPA in Data Analytics. The RMU defender was fourth on the Colonials' squad with 29 ground balls collected and fifth in caused turnovers (8). Christoforatos also added four goals and four assists on the season with a season-best two assists coming in the season opener against Canisius and two goals against Cleveland State
