Utah's Bradbury Repeats as #ASUNMLAX Scholar-Athlete of the Year as 2023 All-Academic Team Announced

2023 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

ATLANTA – For the second consecutive season, Utah's Tyler Bradbury was selected as the ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the league office announced on Tuesday. Bradbury's selection highlighted the 10-man list as voted on by the league's sports information directors and academic administrators.

The 2023 All-Academic squad represents five different institutions as the Utes led the way with four selections, Jacksonville added three while Bellarmine, Cleveland State and Robert Morris landed one selection each.

Bradbury boosted his 3.92 GPA from a season ago to 3.97 this season as a Finance major. The Oak Park, Calif., native leads the team with 20 assists while also putting up 22 goals for 42 points for the two-time ASUN Regular Season Champion Utes. He has scored at least one point in 28 straight games, dating back to the 2021 season, and has scored a point in 35 of his 40 career games. The Utah attackman sits fourth in the league averaging 1.67 assists per game and is sixth in points per game (3.50). Bradbury recorded new single-game career-highs in both assists (4 vs. Marquette) and goals (4 vs. Detroit Mercy) throughout the 2023 campaign.

The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom and exemplify the ASUN's mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team own a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's events.
