#ASUNWTEN All-Academic Team Announced; UNF's Gulihur Claims Third Consecutive Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Women's Tennis All-Academic Team
ATLANTA - For the third consecutive season, the ASUN Conference announced North Florida's Kit Gulihur as the league's Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Gulihur's third Scholar-Athlete honor highlighted the six-person All-Academic Team, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Gulihur is a graduate student majoring in International Affairs with a 4.00 GPA. This season, she received the Player of the Week honor three times while earning ITA Singles and Doubles Rankings and helping UNF to the ASUN Regular Season title. Entering the 2023 ASUN Championship, Gulihur has won 15 Singles matches in a row, all at the top position, and is undefeated in conference play. She has teamed with Ana Paula Melilo for a 15-1 record in Doubles action with notable wins against Georgia Southern and FGCU.
The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
