Women's Soccer Academic All-ASUN Team Revealed

ATLANTA – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced on Wednesday that Lipscomb's Kelli Beiler highlighted the 11-person 2023 Academic All-ASUN Team.

Beiler, a midfielder, earns her second consecutive honor and marks the sixth Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolade in Bisons' history. She has a 4.00 cumulative GPA towards her Bachelor's of Science in Neurobiology with Neuropsychology and Chemistry minors and her graduate certificate in Business Leadership. The Mount Pleasant Mills, Pa., native has put together an impeccable season for the Bisons, recording conference-highs in shots (57), shots on goal (26), goals (13), points (27) and game-winning goals (6). With her career-high 13th goal this season, Beiler tied the Lipscomb program record for total goals (34) and is just one short of the record for single-season goals. She currently has 70 career points entering the 2024 ASUN Championship, just eight behind the program record for 78.

The Academic All-ASUN Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
