ATLANTA – Three spots remained to complete the 2023 Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer Championship field entering Saturday's contests.
Central Arkansas ended the regular season on a high note, clinching an ASUN Championsihp berth after a 3-0 shutout against North Florida. The Queens Royals make their first Division I postseason appearance after coming from behind in the second half against FGCU to win 3-2. Bellarmine prepares for its fourth ASUN postseason run after holding off Stetson in a 3-2 victory.
The 2023 ASUN Championship begins on Saturday, Nov. 4 on the home fields of Lipscomb and the Knights. Sixth-seeded Jacksonville faces off against #3 Stetson with the winner taking on #2 Bellarmine in Louisville, Ky., on Monday, Nov. 6. Rounding out the first round is #5 Central Arkansas and #4 Queens squaring off in Nashville, Tenn., with the winner facing defending league champion #1 Lipscomb. The ASUN Championship Final takes place at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, Nov. 11.
