Queens' McKee and BU's Suder Make History While Claiming @ASUN_MBB Weekly Recognitions
ATLANTA - Queens' AJ McKee and Bellarmine's Peter Suder earned the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball weekly honors, announced by the league office on Monday. Both student-athletes garnered the first respective awards in their programs' histories as McKee was tabbed Player of the Week and Suder claimed the Newcomer of the Week distinction.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
AJ McKee, Queens
Sophomore| Guard | Charlotte, N.C.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; first in program history for Queens
- Averaged 19.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week at home for the Royals
- Scored 23 points to go along with four rebounds, two assists and a steal against FGCU
- Followed up with 15 points, five rebounds one assist and one steal in the defeat of Stetson
- Currently ranks fourth in ASUN conference play with a scoring average of 18.5 points per outing

Peter Suder, Bellarmine
Freshman | Guard | Carmel, Ind.
- First Career ASUN Newcomer of the Week honor; first award for the Bellarmine programs
- Averaged 10.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in two matchups against Eastern Kentucky
- Notched a double-double with 11 rebounds and 10 points in Thursday's win at home for BU
- Recorded 10 points again on the road Saturday along with six boards while shooting 5-for-9 from the floor
- Boasted an assist-to-turnover ratio of 5.0 with 10 total dimes in the two games with only two miscues
