Lipscomb Men's Soccer Coaching Staff Named DI Atlantic Region Staff of the Year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (lipscombsports.com) – Lipscomb Men's Soccer's coaching staff was named the 2022 Atlantic Region Staff of the Year it was announced Friday.
The honor is voted on by other coaches in the region who are also members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services program.
The Lipscomb coaching staff includes head coach Charles Morrow, assistant coaches Stephen Lunney and Micah Bledsoe, director of operations Daniel Mühlbauer, strength and conditioning coach Sean Johnson and athletic trainer Kyle Bahr.
The Region Staff of the Year recipients will be placed on the ballot for United Soccer Coaches National Staff of the Year consideration within their respective NCAA division.
Morrow and his staff led Lipscomb to its best season in program history, finishing the 2022 campaign with a 14-3-2 overall record and an 8-1 record in ASUN play. The team was top of the Atlantic Region poll every week of the season and was in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 every week of the season.
The Bisons set a multitude of program records this season including the most wins in program history, the highest national ranking of any Lipscomb team of any sport in history (No. 9), least goals allowed (12), most shutouts (10) and was the first ever Lipscomb team to earn an NCAA National Seed and host an NCAA Tournament game.

The National Staff of the Year will be announced on Dec. 16 by United Soccer Coaches.
