@ASUN_Football Produces Eight Stats Perform All-American Honorees
2022 Stats Perform All-America Teams
ATLANTA –A successful season on the gridiron for ASUN Conference Football squads was recognized with a total of eight student-athletes making Stats Perform All-America teams, announced Tuesday by the organization.
Central Arkansas led the way with three selections including both of the ASUN's first-team choices while Eastern Kentucky produced a pair of honorees along with one honor each for Austin Peay, Jacksonville State and North Alabama. UCA's David Walker (defensive line) and Jarrod Barnes (punt returner) were tabbed for the first-team with Jaylin Hendrix (offensive line) named to third-team to round out the Bears' list of honorees. EKU quarterback Parker McKinney and linebacker Matthew Jackson were joined by Govs' linebacker Antoine Williams and UNA running back ShunDerrick Powell as third-team selections. JSU's Fred Perry (defensive back) garnered Freshman All-America accolades.
