2022 ASUN Conference Women's Soccer All-Academic Team

ATLANTA – The 11-person All-Academic Team for the 2022 ASUN Conference Women's Soccer season has been released and was highlighted by Kelli Beiler of Lipscomb being tabbed the Scholar-Athlete of the Year, announced Wednesday by the league office.

A senior midfielder, Beiler is the fifth Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the Bisons' history. She has collected a 3.88 cumulative GPA towards her degree in Neurobiology while starting 15 of the 16 matches she has played in for Lipscomb this season for a total of 1,132 minutes on the pitch. The Mount Pleasant Mills, Pa., native delivered crucial tackles to interrupt the Bisons' opponents and emerged as the top goal scorer in the conference. Beiler recorded 11 goals over the course of the regular season, including a set of back-to-back braces against Bellarmine and North Florida in early October.

The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
