ATLANTA, Ga. - The ASUN Conference announced Liberty's Kasey Jamieson as the 2021 Spring Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Jamieson highlighted the 11-person All-Academic Team on Thursday, announced by the league office.

A junior from Lansing, Mich., Jamieson is the first student-athlete from Liberty to earn the Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolade. Jamieson, an Exercise Science major and Business minor with a 3.99 grade-point average, helped lead the Flames to four-straight wins in the ASUN Championship to capture the title as the No. 4 seed in the North Division. She has scored seven goals on the year which is tied for third in the league while her 15 points are also third. The forward ranks first on her Liberty squad in both categories and has added 22 shots in her 14 matches played this season.

The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
