ATLANTA, Ga. - For the second-consecutive season, the ASUN Conference announced Liberty's Kasey Jamieson as the 2021 Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Jamieson highlighted the 11-person All-Academic Team, announced by the league office on Thursday.

A senior from Lansing, Mich., Jamieson is the only student-athlete from Liberty to earn the Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolade. Jamieson, an Exercise Science major with a 3.99 grade-point average, helped lead the Flames to earn a berth into the upcoming ASUN Championship as the East Division's #3 seed. She currently sits tied for fourth in the league with her 18 points this season while ranking fifth in goals (7) and assists (4). The forward ranks first on her Liberty squad with four assists while her goal total of six sits second.

The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
