ASUN Beam Report: The Magic No. 3

ATLANTA, Ga. -  The FGCU Eagles and the North Florida Ospreys have been leading the NCAA in several key categories surrounding the three-ball all season. 

The Eagles have been raining threes leading the nation with a total of 776 3-point attempts this season connecting on 259 which also leads the NCAA.  Their 11.8 threes per game have them sitting atop the ASUN with a 7-0 conference record while being ranked No. 24 in the nation according to the USA Today poll.

The Birds of Trey, North Florida Ospreys have been holding the three-point line down on the men's side as well leading the NCAA with a whopping 733 3-point attempts.  Their 278 three-pointers made also leads the nation which the Ospreys hit at a clip of 12.1 threes per game.  North Florida sits in a two-way tie for first place in the ASUN standings with a 6-2 record.
