Stetson's Noble Named #ASUNBVB Scholar Athlete of the Year Award

2019 ASUN All-Academic Team

DELAND, Fla. - Stetson's Rachel Noble was selected as the ASUN Conference Women's Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, announced Thursday by the league office. Noble and nine other beach volleyball student-athletes highlight the All-Academic Team.

The senior Sport Business major has been named to the All-Academic Team for three years while maintaining a 3.82 GPA. Noble also served as Stetson's SAAC Co-President while earning the Stetson Business Foundation Merit Award, the Wendell Jarrard Award and made the ASUN Honor Roll three times.  The ASUN SAAC Social Media Coordinator also received the Melching Leadership Award while being named to the Stetson Dean's List. This season, Rachel Noble became the ASUN beach volleyball's all-time leader wins leader with 90.

The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom and exemplify the ASUN's mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team have completed four semesters of college coursework OR 50 percent of progress towards a degree.
