The Lunch Box with NJIT's Olivia Welsch
ATLANTA, Ga. - In the ASUN Conference's newest video initiative, The Lunch Box, ASUN Director of Social Media Kendrell Watkins catches up with member coaches and student-athletes each week throughout the 2019-20 academic year. Oct. 10 | NJIT Volleyball's Olivia Welsch
This week's episode features NJIT's Senior Volleyball student-athlete Olivia Welsch. The two-time captain has played in all but two sets during her tenure for the Highlanders while setting a new career-high with 17 digs during her junior campaign against Jacksonville. Welsch also logged 23 assists and 17 service aces for a triple-double during the match vs. the Dolphins.
Olivia Welsch graduated in three years with a Business degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems. Currently, she is using her fourth year to get her Masters in Global Project Management. This summer she and teammate Liz Benson were two-of-200 student-athletes to be selected and participate in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum at the NCAA National Office Headquarters in Indianapolis.
