Women's Soccer All-Academic Team
ATLANTA, Ga. - The ASUN Conference announced Lipscomb's Olivia Doak as the 2019 Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Doak highlighted the 11-person All-Academic Team on Thursday night, announced at the ASUN Women's Soccer Virtual Banquets held in Nashville, Tenn. and Fort Myers, Fla.
A senior from Shelbyville, Tenn., Doak is the third student-athlete from Lipscomb to earn the accolade joining Anna Buhigas (2014) and Natalie DuBoise (2016, '17). Doak is a two-time member of the All-Academic Team after earning the honor last year as well. She sits with a 3.92 cumulative GPA as an Exercise Science major at Lipscomb. This season, Doak helped the Bisons to a 12-5-1 overall record and 6-1-1 mark in league play, which earned Lipscomb a share of its third-straight ASUN Regular Season title.
The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
