ASUN Beam Report: Defending Champions FGCU Prepare for Second-Half of Conference Play

ATLANTA, Ga. - This week's ASUN Beam Report with Kendrell Watkins highlights the FGCU Eagles' Women's Basketball team as they enter week four of the conference schedule. The defending champion Eagles enter the week 5-0 in league play while North Alabama sits in second at 5-1 with their only loss coming to Florida Gulf Coast. Jacksonville triumphed in an 80-72 victory over North Florida in the River City Rumble this past Tuesday, and are in third place at 4-2.
On a recent road trip, the Beam Report interviewed FGCU Head Coach Karl Smesko and Junior Guard Nasrin Ulel as the team prepares for their second-half stretch to the conference tournament.
