Lipscomb's DuBoise Earns Back-to-Back #ASUNWSOC Scholar-Athlete of the Year
2017 ASUN Women's Soccer All-Academic Team
LakePoint, Ga. - The ASUN Conference announced Lipscomb's Natalie DuBoise as the 2017 Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second-consecutive year. DuBoise highlighted the 13-person All-Academic Team on Thursday afternoon.
DuBoise, a senior midfielder for the Bisons, boasts a 3.97 cumulative GPA majoring in Finance. A native of Placitas, N.M., DuBoise helped Lipscomb clinch the ASUN Regular Season title for the first time in program history and obtain a No. 1 seed in the championship. The senior is tied for second on the team in goals with two on the season and one assist, totaling five points.
The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. All the members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
