On the court, Means capped off her collegiate career with a 5-1 record in conference singles matches, after having tallied 45 career singles victories.
Julianna Curtis joined Means as the only other Eagle player to make the team, owning a 4.00 GPA as a sophomore Management major. Stetson tied FGCU for the lead with two players apiece on the All-Academic Team, as both Carolina Meregalli (a unanimous choice) and Maja Salibasic earned the nod for the Hatters.
Cristina Martin from Kennesaw State, Lorena Djuknic from Lipscomb and Luise Intert from North Florida represented their institutions on the squad as unanimous selections, while USC Upstate's Anna Zoske was placed on the squad as a Business major owning a 3.92 GPA.
The A-Sun All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the court and in the classroom and exemplify the A-Sun's mission of Building Winners for Life. All members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
