MACON, Ga. - Kennesaw State's Teremoana Beaucousin collected the Atlantic Sun Men's Golf Player of the Year accolade on Thursday by a unanimous vote, announced by the league office. Beaucousin posted a 71.1 stroke average in his sophomore campaign as he earned nine top-20 performances & five top-10 finishes. He fired 19 rounds of par or better to become KSU's second-ever A-Sun Golfer of the Year.

Lipscomb's Dawson Armstrong, who tied for second at the conference championship, became the first-ever Bison to be tabbed the A-Sun Freshman of the Year. A First Team All-Conference selection, Armstrong won the Kenny Perry Invitational and earned two A-Sun Player of the Week honors in his opening season. He capped his season with a 72.16 scoring average and ranked 145th nationally by GolfWeek.

KSU's Jimmy Beck joined Beaucousin as a unanimous selection to the First Team All-Conference; marking the third first team nod for Beck in his career. The Columbus, Ga. native sits with a 71.27 scoring average heading into NCAA Regional play and tallied six top-10 finishes with two runner-up performances. At the A-Sun Championship, Beck tied for second place with Armstrong one stroke behind the individual medalist.

Two Ospreys garnered First Team All-Conference recognition with unanimous selection; Joey Petronio and Austin Padova. Petronio registered a 72.05 average throughout the season with 13 rounds under par, which included a program record 63 at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic. He earned medalist honors at the Shoal Creek Invitational and co-medalist at General Hackler Championship. Padova, the A-Sun Championship Medalist, enters NCAA Regional play with a 72.83 average with 10 rounds under par this season including two coming at the conference tournament.

Kennesaw State earned two selections to the A-Sun Second Team All-Conference with Fredrik Nilehn and Austin Vick. The KSU duo were joined by FGCU's Jake Sherwin, North Florida's Taylor Hancock and USC Upstate's Ryan Cornfield.

Armstrong and Nilehn were unanimous choices to the A-Sun All-Freshman Team and accompanied by Jacksonville's Raul Pereda, North Florida's Dillon Woods and USC Upstate's Thomas Schofield. After guiding North Florida to its fourth A-Sun Championship title, UNF Head Coach Scott Schroeder was tabbed the A-Sun Coach of the Year by his peers for the fifth time in his career.
