MACON, Ga. -
The Atlantic Sun Conference awarded the 2015 A-Sun Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year award to USC Upstate forward Rachel Baylor, announced Wednesday by the conference office. Baylor joined 10 other women's soccer student-athletes on the 2015 All-Academic Team.

Baylor, an unanimous selection for the All-Academic Team, set a career-high with goals and points in 2015 as she tied for the team lead with four goals including an overtime game-winner vs. Francis Marion. The junior totaled nine points this season in 18 games played and 15 starts. The Greensboro, N.C. native holds a 3.903 cumulative GPA as a Spanish major.

The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom and exemplify the A-Sun's mission of Building Winners for Life.
