KSU's Frost Named A-Sun Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete

MACON, Ga. – The Atlantic Sun Conference honored Kennesaw State's Katrina Frost as the 2012 Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year to highlight the league’s Academic All-Conference team.

Frost leads the Owls in points (23) and goals (10) to guide Kennesaw State to the three seed in the 2012 Atlantic Sun Women's Soccer Championship. Seven of Frost's 10 goals this year came against A-Sun opponents as the Owls finished with a 6-2-1 league record and 10-7-1 overall mark.

Frost ranks second among active student-athletes in career points (47) and goals (21). She owns a 3.56 cumulative GPA as an International Affairs major.

The A-Sun introduced the new sport-by-sport Academic All-Conference teams in the 2011-12 academic year to recognize student-athletes who embody the conference’s mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better and participated in at least half of their team’s games.
