North Alabama came out fighting, as they took the first set from the Ospreys. That is all UNF would surrender though, as they took the next three sets to secure the victory. Playing without a key piece in Taryn Griffey, Gabby O'Connell stepped up in a big way. The junior tallied a double-double with 20 kills and 10 digs to lead the charge for North Florida. Solimar Cestero chipped in with 10 kills, while Madilyn McCarty was just three digs away from a double-double with 49 assists and seven digs. UNA was led by Sophia Brandstetter, who registered a double-double of 16 kills and 14 digs. North Florida will finish out the season tomorrow night when they host NJIT, while UNA closes its inaugural season in Division I with a record of 4-21 (2-14).

Lipscomb made quick work of Jacksonville on Friday night, as they took the match in straight sets. It was a balanced effort from the Bisons with three players recording at least eight kills (Ca'Layci Coffey 9, Carlyle Nusbaum 8, Megan Kuper 8). Morgan Elmore dished out 26 assists for the victors, while Nusbaum led the way defensively with 14 digs. Lipscomb held JU to .102 hitting percentage, while the Bisons themselves hit .298 as a club. The ASUN Championship now awaits Lipscomb, who will be the No. 3 seed, while Jacksonville closes out the regular season on Saturday against Kennesaw State.
