Lipscomb hitters Carlyle Nusbaum and Taylor Racich were named to the All-South Region Team, while Amanda Carroll of FGCU was an honorable mention in the Southeast.

    Lipscomb Volleyball's Season Ends After Hard Fought Loss in Manhattan Nashville, Tenn. - After taking hold of the 2016 ASUN Volleyball Conference Championship earlier this year, Lipscomb was the lone representative of its conference in this season's NCAA Volleyball Championship. Despite forcing multiple frames to extra points in their match with Kansas State, the Bisons lost Friday's match in Manhattan by a score of 3-0, ending their season in the first round of the NCAA postseason.

    No. 1 Lipscomb and No. 3 FGCU Meet In #ASUNVB Final For 2nd Time in History Nashville, Tenn. - After respective wins against No. 5 USC Upstate and No. 2 Kennesaw State, No. 1 Lipscomb and No. 3 FGCU will meet in the 2016 ASUN Volleyball Championship Final for the second time in history. While this is just FGCU's second appearance in the title match and Lipscomb's third in as many seasons, the Eagles won't plan on playing the underdog role on Saturday. The two squads have split their season series at 1-1, both earning shutout wins on the road.

    No. 1 Lipscomb Wins Second Straight @ASUNVolleyball Conference Championship Nashville, Tenn. - For the third time in its history Lipscomb University has won back to back ASUN Volleyball Conference Championships. As the No. 1 seed the Bisons entered this year's tournament as the title favorites, and did not disappoint. After defeating No. 5 USC Upstate in a three set sweep this Thursday, the hosting Bisons defeated No. 3 FGCU in four sets, beating the Eagles in the postseason for the third time in ASUN history.

    FGCU Wins 20-Plus For Two Years Running; Defeats Bethune-Cookman LakePoint, Ga. - FGCU has now won over 20 games for their second consecutive season after a Tuesday win against visiting Bethune-Cookman. The Eagles finished off the Wildcats in four frames, outhitting their opponent .311 to .210. The Fort Myers squad is 4-0 in midweek games for the 2016 campaign and has beaten B-CU twice this year. North Florida traveled to Tallahassee on Tuesday, dropping a decision to Florida A&M in three sets.
