JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Day one of the 2018 ASUN Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field championship got underway on Friday morning on the campus of the University of North Florida. The women's heptathlon got the Championship started, as athletes from Kennesaw State and NJIT competed.
LakePoint, Ga. - With the regular season in the books, all six conference teams are preparing for the 23rd ASUN Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Kennesaw State made history last year by winning their first title in program history and snapping Jacksonville's 11 year reign over the conference. Eight ASUN athletes are currently sitting in the top-20 of the NCAA East Region, highlighted by Kennesaw State's, Joscelyn Powell, who ranks fourth in the 400 meter hurdles and 16th in the 100m hurdles.
Admission prices to the 2018 ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Championship will be determined at a later date.
Students with a valid I.D. from any ASUN institution will be admitted free of charge.
Spectators are not permitted in the competition area.
