Stetson's Struble and Lipscomb's Hanger Collect #ASUNWSOC Weekly Awards

 Stetson's Maggie Struble and Lipscomb's Katia Hanger have earned this week's ASUN Conference Women's Soccer honors, announced by the conference office on Monday. The awards marked the first career ones for both Struble and Hanger.

Maggie Struble, Stetson
Freshman | Forward | Estero, Fla.
- First career Player of the Week Award; First Hatter recipient since 2017 (Sarah Collins)
- Recorded the 10th hat trick in program history in Stetson's 4-1 win over Georgia Southern
- The hat trick was the first of her career and just the second Hatter freshman to record one
- Leads the Stetson team with four goals in five games
- Her four goals rank third in ASUN for goals on the season

Women's Soccer Defensive Player the Week
Katia Hanger, Lipscomb
Freshman | Defender | Alpharetta, Ga.
- First career Defensive Player of the Week honor; four Bisons won the award last season
- Played a key role in Lipscomb's backline, which only allowed four shots on goal over two games (2 vs. Marshall; 3 vs. Colgate)
- Scored the opening goal in Lipscomb's 3-1 win over Colgate, the first of her career
- Leads a Bisons defense unit which is second in the ASUN for goals allowed (16) and GAA (0.77)
- Helped Lipscomb collect back-to-back wins for the second time this season
