2018 #ASUNWSOC Season Preview: North Florida Ospreys

LakePoint, Ga. - With the 2018 ASUN Women's Soccer season around the corner, we scope out our nine conference squads in preparation for the 26th season of ASUN Women's Soccer beginning August 16.

North Florida begins its fifth season under former National Player of The Year Robin Confer and comes off its first winning campaign under her guidance. At 9-6-1 overall, the Ospreys placed fifth in the conference with a 3-4 ASUN record.

The Osprey's roster is dominated by underclassmen, including 10 freshmen. 2017 ASUN Freshman of The Year Thais Reiss headlines the returnees after posting six goals and 13 points in 14 starts. Krista Colubiale represents the veteran experience for the squad, having started 39 games and totaling 29 points in her career. Rising sophomore goalkeeper Rhiannon Conelley had her own fantastic freshman campaign, winning nine games to set the UNF record for D-I competition, and tying the D-I mark for shutouts in a year with seven.
