2018 #ASUNWSOC Season Preview: Kennesaw State Owls

LakePoint, Ga. - With the 2018 ASUN Women's Soccer season around the corner, we scope out our nine conference squads in preparation for the 26th season of ASUN Women's Soccer beginning August 16.

Kennesaw State compiled another winning mark in 2017 at 8-7-4 and finished fourth in the ASUN Regular Season standings. Benji Walton enters his third season as coach of the Owls, having led the program to back-to-back ASUN Semifinal appearances.

KSU returns 20 letter winners while welcoming in seven new players. Carly Pressgrove enters her final year with the team standing as the active leader in points, goals, assists and games started. A 2017 All-ASUN Second Team honoree, Isabella Contreras scored the first three goals of her career in 2017 and started 17 games. Sophomore goalkeeper Tiffany Sornpao comes off a performance which landed her on the ASUN All-Freshman and All-Tournament teams behind 61 saves and a 1.06 GAA.
