2017 #ASUNWSOC Season Preview: NJIT Highlanders

LakePoint, Ga. With the 2017 ASUN Women's Soccer season around the corner, we scope out our eight conference squads in preparation for the 25th season of ASUN Women's Soccer beginning August 18.

This season, NJIT enters its third year in the ASUN Conference under second year coach Ally Nick. Nick led the Highlanders to a 6-9-3 season, with the second highest win total in the past six seasons. The Highlanders are scheduled to play opponents, Manhattan, Lafayette and UMass Lowell to kick off the season. Also, NJIT's home opener is against Marist, who advanced to the semifinals of the MAAC Tournament last year.
