    ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Runs in the first and second half spoiled the party for the Jacksonville University women's lacrosse team as the Dolphins fell at No. 8 Michigan, 13-9, Friday afternoon at U-M Lacrosse Stadium.

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – They shoot, they score! For the first time in program history, the Jacksonville University women's lacrosse team has won an NCAA Tournament game. The Dolphins not only won, the did it in decisive fashion with a 22-7 victory over the visiting Mercer Bears in the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament, Tuesday afternoon at D.B. Milne Field. Jacksonville moves on to play at No. 8 Michigan in the First Round on Friday, May 10 at 4 p.m. EST.

After earning the ASUN Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in seven years, the Jacksonville University women's lacrosse team will play Mercer, the SoCon Champion, in a play-in game in the opening round at Jacksonville's D.B. Milne Field on Tuesday, May 7. Game time will be announced at a later date.

First Team All-Conference members Jenny Kinsey & Lillie Miller combined for 15 goals & 19 points to highlight the Jacksonville high-octane attack.

    CONWAY, S.C. - ASUN newcomer and second seeded Liberty continued to take the league by storm on Thursday afternoon, as they marched into Brooks Stadium and upended host No. 3 Coastal Carolina by a score of 18-8. The win clinches Liberty's second-ever appearance in a conference championship, with their last coming in 2015 as members of the Big South.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - The ASUN Conference awarded the 2019 ASUN Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor to Coastal Carolina's Madeline Bromly as she becomes the first Chanticleer to win the award, the league office announced at its annual awards banquet on Wednesday. Tutchton is joined by 11 other lacrosse student-athletes on this year's All-Academic Team.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - For the second time in conference history, the postseason awards featured two Players of the Year, as Coastal Carolina's Haley Alexander and Kennesaw State's Siena Gore tied for the league's top honor. Coastal's goalie Harley Barrett captured her second-straight ASUN Defensive Player of the Year honor to highlight Wednesday's night awards banquet. Jacksonville's Dayna Martinetto was voted the ASUN Freshman of the Year after bursting onto the scene, with JU's Mindy McCord Coach of the Year accolades for the fourth time in her career.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - ASUN Conference Women's Lacrosse regular season action wrapped up on Sunday afternoon, as Kennesaw State and Jacksonville picked up victories. Kennesaw State clinched the final spot in the ASUN Championship, as they downed Howard. Jacksonville took the ASUN regular season championship outright, as they defeated Stetson in DeLand. Coastal Carolina dropped their season finale, as the fell to Elon, 15-13.

    ATLANTA, Ga. - The 2019 ASUN Conference Women's Lacrosse regular season comes to a head this weekend, as the slate comes to an end. Three of the four seeds for the ASUN Championship, as Jacksonville is the one, Liberty is the two and Coastal Carolina is the three. Jacksonville can clinch the regular season outright with a win against Stetson on Sunday. The fourth spot will be decided this Sunday, as Kennesaw State is in the drivers seat for the final spot. The Owls just need to win against Howard to secure the fourth and final seed, while Stetson has a shot with a win and a Kennesaw State loss.

    Mount Pleasant, Mich. – The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team had a second consecutive hat-trick of hat-tricks to defeat former ASUN member Central Michigan 13-7 on Thursday evening in Mount Pleasant, Mich. The win improved the Chanticleers record to 11-4 overall while CMU fell to 6-9 on the season.

Milne Field. Sophomore Megan Prescott had a career day with eight draw controls and five points (4 goals, 1 assist), while redshirt-junior Erin McGuire led the Dolphins behind a six-point performance (2g, 4a).

    WASHINGTON, D.C. - Three different players scored four goals each to lead Stetson to a 20-4 ASUN Conference lacrosse win Friday at Howard. Riley Reagan, Marina Rotella and Saige-Lyn Gidzinski all scored four times as the Hatters (3-9 overall, 2-2 ASUN) rolled past the Bison (0-9, 0-3).

    KENT, Ohio – Trailing by one at the half, the Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team lit up the nets in the second half, out-scoring Kent State 10-2, to cruise to an 18-11 victory Thursday afternoon. Four Owls recorded hat tricks on the day with Siena Gore and Anna Giulitto netting five goals each, a career-high mark for Giulitto.
