2017 ASUN Women's Basketball Championship

GENERAL INFORMATION
The 2017 ASUN Conference Women's Basketball Championship will be held at several arenas as top seeds will host each successive round of the event.

The 2017 ASUN Championship will be held March 3-12, with quarterfinal games scheduled for Friday, March 3rd, followed by semifinals on Wednesday March 8th and the Championship Final on Sunday, March 12th. 

The 2017 ASUN Women's Basketball Championship marks the 32nd year that the league will host the championship.

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT
The ASUN Championship will be a nine-day single-elimination event. Eight teams will compete in the Championship with the seeding determined by conference winning percentage. The winner of the Championship earns the ASUN's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.

Ticket Prices 
First Round & Semifinals
$10 - Adult General Admission
$5 - Students with valid I.D. and children 3-17

Finals
$15 - Adult General Admission
$5 - Students with valid I.D. and children 3-17

Children 2 and under admitted free with a valid adult ticket throughout the event

Premium seating ticket prices may be higher than general admission and vary from venue-to-venue

MEDIA INFORMATION
Credentials
Media planning to cover the 2017 ASUN Championship should contact ASUN Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Patrick McCoy (patrick.mccoy@asunsports.org) to request credentials and parking passes.

Information
A game program featuring rosters and information for each participating team will be available as well as statistical packets and individual team game notes prior to first round play. Updated statistics will be available daily for the remainder of the Championship. Post-game quotes, notes and final box scores will be distributed following each game. 

Work Environment
A media work area offering internet access and electricity will be provided by the host institution. Appropriately credentialed media and institutional personnel shall have access to the media work area.
