Reddick and McAllister Earn @ASunWBB Weekly Accolades

MACON, Ga. - Jacksonville's Sherranda Reddick and Kennesaw State's Jasmine McAllister were honored with this week's Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball Player of the Week awards, announced by the league office on Monday.

Reddick produced her best offensive scoring effort of her career in the River City Rumble win over North Florida on Saturday. The sophomore from Jacksonville made her first six three-pointers on her way to a career-high 30 points in the win. For the game, she finished with 6-8 from behind the arc and made 60% from the field. She made 6-7 free throws as well to thwart any comeback attempt by the Ospreys. Reddick became the fourth A-Sun player this season to reach the 30-point mark, and was only two points shy of setting a Dolphins single-game record.

McAllister continued her dominant performance this season with her league-leading 12th double-double in the win over USC Upstate. She scored 19 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds to lift KSU to its 15th win. Eight of her 19 boards came on the offensive end as McAllister controlled the glass from start to finish. She ranks second in the A-Sun in rebounds per game (11.0) and fourth in scoring (14.1). The Owls won their 15th game of the season, marking the first time since 2008-09 that KSU has reached this mark.
