FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Liberty scored first, but a five-run Iowa State first inning sent the Cyclones on their way to a 7-2 victory over the Lady Flames in an elimination game at the 2019 NISC Championship Round, Saturday at TC Colorado Field.

FORT COLLINS, Colo -- NISC Lynchburg Regional champion Liberty (40-20) will attempt to win its second NISC title, competing in the NISC Championship Round Friday through Sunday at TC Colorado Field in Fort Collins, Colo. The Lady Flames open against UT Arlington (33-27) on Friday at 6 p.m. ET, after Iowa State (35-23) and 2018 NISC champion Loyola Marymount (39-19) square off at 3 p.m. ET.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Top-seeded Lipscomb upended No. 6 North Florida by an 8-2 score to claim the ASUN Conference Softball Championship title Saturday afternoon at the FGCU Softball Complex. A three-run second inning proved to be the difference as the Bisons secured their second crown in program history (2010).
