OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Following a stellar senior campaign, Riley Randolph was named to the Senior CLASS Second Team All-American list, Premiere Sports Management announced Wednesday afternoon.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their athletic platforms to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

Randolph (St. Petersburg, FL./Northeast HS) capped off the 2019 season going 18-9 in the circle with a 1.10 ERA, striking out a career single-season high 218 batters in 190.2 innings of work. Off the diamond, she boasted a 3.40 GPA while earning a bachelor's degree in communications along with a minor in interdisciplinary studies.

"Riley had an outstanding year in and out the circle for us this season and it's well-deserved recognition to be named with some of the top softball players in the country," said head coach David Deiros. "She leaves FGCU as one of the best players to dawn a Green and Blue uniform and I couldn't be more proud of her."

Her extracurricular activities included being the Vice Chairman for the Eagles' Council (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) while completing and internship for Soukup Strategic Solutions, who provide nonprofit organizations with expertise in fundraising and nonprofit management. Randolph also worked with various community members such as Habitat for Humanity, the Shy Wolf Sanctuary and the Kevin Popke Foundation.
