ATLANTA, Ga. – Liberty wins its ninth straight ASUN Conference game, while FGCU also earned a series sweep over Jacksonville to highlight Sunday's softball slate.

Liberty earned its ninth consecutive ASUN Conference win in a 4-1 victory over North Florida. The Flames scored in four separate innings and manufactured nine hits (eight being singles) in the game. Julia DiMartino (15-7) earned the win in the circle while UNF's Sydney Matzko (11-9) suffered the loss.

FGCU earned a series sweep over Jacksonville with 7-1 and 7-2 victories Sunday. Game one saw Marissa Mesiemore, the reigning Pitcher of the Week, shut out the Dolphin offense with seven strikeouts and no walks for her eighth win of the season. In game two, every starter for the Eagles got a hit with the top three in the order -- Kate Kelly, Haley Morrell and Racquel Fournet -- each recording two hits apiece. Five of FGCU's 13 hits went for extra bases.

Kennesaw State scored a 2-0 shutout win over Stetson to salvage the series with a pair of wins. Christen Florence got the Owls on the scoreboard in the fifth with a sacrifice fly. KSU added an insurance run in the top of the seventh on a double by Katie Greep, scoring Brea Dickey. Hailey Andrew got her league-leading 16th win in the circle.

Lipscomb was red hot in its 13-2 win over North Alabama in a game that was called after five innings of play. The Bisons' Jenna Pealor and Sarah Higgins each had two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored to lead the offensive attack. Pealor and Higgins, along with Katie Turner all homered in the game.
