FORMAT
The 2016 ASUN Men's Soccer Championship will be a six team, single elimination tournament contested over two weeks. The top six teams based on regular season conference standings will advance to the tournament. The #1 seed will host the #4 vs. #5 seed, and the #2 seed will host the #3 vs. #6 seed on a Friday and play the winner on Sunday. If the #1 or #2 seed is also hosting the Women’s Championship, the opening round match will play on Thursday and the winner will play the #1 or #2 seed on Saturday. Ties will be broken according to the established ASUN tiebreaker criteria:
  1. Head to head results among teams involved in tie

  2. Goal differential versus teams involved in tie

  3. Goal differential in overall conference play

  4. Goals for in overall conference play

  5. Non-conference RPI

FACILITY 
The Championship Final will be hosted by No. 2 FGCU at the FGCU Soccer Complex in Fort Myers, Fla.   

TICKET INFORMATION
Admission will be charged for the Championship. Prices will be set by the host site in consultation with the conference office. Admission to the ASUN Men’s Soccer Championship will be FREE for ASUN students with school ID.

Results & Original Content
Results will also be posted on the ASUN Men’s Soccer Championship page on the ASUN website (www.asunsports.org) as soon as they are available. Results and a recap from each day will be also emailed to all ASUN men’s soccer contacts as soon as they are available. Additionally, videos from select participants and a slideshow featuring the day’s action will be available online.

Information
Post-event quotes, notes and final results will be available upon request following each day. 

Interviews
All head coaches and student-athletes shall be available for interviews with the media on the day of competition. Student-athletes shall be required to speak with the media following a 10-minute “cooling off” period after the completion of their competition. Coaches shall be required to speak with the media following a 10-minute “cooling off” period following their team’s final competition of the day. Multimedia clips of selected interviews by ASUN Conference staff will be posted on the Men’s Soccer website
