Colas Lifts Hatters to Overtime Road Win vs. Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Freshman Erwan Colas scored the game-winning goal with just three minutes to play in the second overtime period as Stetson edged Bucknell, 1-0, Sunday at Emmitt Field in Lewisburg, Pa.
 
After over 100 minutes of scoreless soccer and with the game almost at an end, Colas sent the Hatters (2-2) to their second straight road win when he took a pass fromGabriel Diniz and found the back of the net in the 107thminute.
 
Colas' goal came in support of an outstanding defensive effort by the Hatters. Bucknell (1-2-1) took 17 shots, but just three were on-goal. Stetson keeper Braeden Luna made three saves in recoding his first career shutout.
 
Stetson managed 18 shots for the game, including seven on-goal. Bucknell took 11 corner kics, to just five for the Hatters.
 
The Hatters next open ASUN Conference play when the welcome league newcomer Liberty to the ATC, 7 p.m., Thursday.
