Stetson secured a big road victory at Mercer on Sunday behind goals from Finn Busmann and Gabriel Diniz. It took until the 41st minute, but the Hatters were able to get on the scoreboard first. Busmann took a pass from Daniel O'Brien and converted to give Stetson a 1-0 halftime lead. That lead stood only six minutes in the second half as the Mercer Bears scored the equalizer in the 51st minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Gabriel Diniz received a pass from Elvis Menayese at the top of the box. Diniz took a touch to settle himself and then drilled a shot into the upper 90 to give Stetson a 2-1 lead. Stetson's defense stayed tough for the final 13 minutes and the Hatters secured their first road win of the 2017 season. Joseph Melong started in goal again and was credited with one save.

Jacksonville's Patrick Harding played brilliantly in Sunday night's match at Charlotte, but the Dolphins were unable to muster much offense as they fell 1-0 to the 49ers. Harding came into tonight's match with 10 saves on the season in three previous matches. He was credited with 14 saves tonight alone as he kept Jacksonville in striking distance all night long. Harding's play kept the match tied 0-0 at halftime as he made a thwarted a couple of dangerous chances for Charlotte. It took a wonderstrike in the 51st minute to finally beat Harding, as the 49ers struck with a curling shot from distance into the upper 90. Harding continued his outstanding play with several key stops in the second half as the 49ers looked to put the game out of reach. The Dolphins managed two shots tonight, with the best opportunity falling to defender Sam Gardner, who's header was saved by the Charlotte keeper.
