ATLANTA, Ga. - North Florida's Andrew Alligood was named the final ASUN Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the Fall season of the 2018-19 year, announced Thursday by the league office.
A three-time ASUN All-Conference honoree, Alligood finished fifth out of 116 players in his latest event held at the Ka'anapali Golf Club in Lahaine, Hawaii. Carding rounds of 69, 63, and 70 to finish with a final score of 202 in the Ka'anapali Classic, Alligood finished just six shots behind the winner from California. The three rounds under-par were the first of his season and his eight-under 63 was a personal best score as well as matching a program record for the lowest round. His individual success also helped the Ospreys to second-place in the event as the team looks toward the Spring season with their next event scheduled to begin on January 28 at the Pablo Creek Collegiate Cup, a match vs. rival Jacksonville.
