2019 ASUN Men's Basketball Championship

For the sixth-straight season, the 2019 ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Championship will be held at campus sites as top seeds will host each successive round of the event.

The 2019 ASUN Championship will be held March 4 - March 10, with quarterfinal games scheduled for Monday, March 4, followed by semifinals on Thursday March 7 and the Championship Final on Sunday, March 10th at 3 PM ET on ESPN.

The 2018 ASUN Men's Basketball Championship marks the 40th year that the league will host the championship.

The ASUN Championship will be a seven-day single-elimination event. Eight teams will compete in the Championship and the participants will be determined by conference winning percentage. The winner of the Championship earns the ASUN's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.

Media planning to cover the 2019 ASUN Championship should contact ASUN Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Patrick McCoy (patrick.mccoy@asunsports.org) to request credentials and parking passes. 

A game program featuring rosters and information for each participating team will be available as well as statistical packets and individual team game notes prior to first round play. Updated statistics will be available daily for the remainder of the Championship. Post-game quotes, notes and final box scores will be distributed following each game. 

Work Environment
A media work area offering internet access and electricity will be provided by the host institution. Appropriately credentialed media and institutional personnel shall have access to the media work area.
